My experiences with branding were simple.
i didn’t know what the f*** i was doing.
but somewhere down the line, the internet became more than just doom scrolling and binging.
The truth??
there’s no reason your online presence can’t create income.
Each post that you post, each reel that you create, each TikTok, each video. . .
is a key to the foundation of your brand.
And yes, you have incidentally been building a brand, whether you realize it or not.
‘It wasn’t until i graduated college that i started to experiment.’
-says every graduate ever
but seriously.
‘I started to see social media as a way to build a reputation for myself. . .
I didn’t know it yet, but eventually it was a way to build a business.’
That’s when I started experimenting with different archetypes:
The bad girl.
The party girl.
The eclectic muse.
The artist.
It was trial and error. It was putting on different masks and seeing what felt right and what people responded to.
And it definitely influenced the way people saw me. Not only in my hometown, but also in the responses I was getting online, the types of comments I received, and the types of people who were interested in interacting with me.

I. bARBIE IN A BOX
“The reason Barbies sell is because they represent a specific role, fantasy, or aspiration. Each one speaks to a very particular desire. . .
Your brand works the same way.”
II. THE PINTEREST PARADOX
“We’re constantly trying to emulate a single pin, a single photo, a single aesthetic.
But your real magic doesn’t come from copying one pin.”
